Dr. Jian Chen
Dr. Jian Chen is a post-doctoral fellow. Dr. Chen holds an extensive experience in cancer biology with an excellent publication record. Dr. Chen has contributed to the understanding of MLK3 and TGFb signaling in breast and pancreatic cancers respectively. He is now interested in deciphering the role of Tristetraprolin family of RNA binding proteins in hepatic cancer.
Richa joined the Comparative Biomedical Sciences Graduate Program in Fall 2919. She holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. She is interested in understanding the pathogenesis of direct and indirect Acute Lung Injury and Acute Respiratory Distress syndrome. She possesses excellent surgical skills and wants to make a difference in the treatment of patients with sepsis-associated acute lung injury one day.
Madison is a Biochemistry Major Pre-Medical Undergraduate Student at Louisiana State University. Madison takes very good care of our extensive mouse colony and is learning molecular biology techniques. She is interested in cancer research and would like to be an oncologist.
